School Caretaker - Anfield, Liverpool
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in Anfield on a temporary basis with an ASAP start, subject to an enhanced DBS check.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous site maintenance, caretaking, or facilities experience who enjoys working in a school environment and takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and secure site.
Role Details
* Location: Anfield
* Hours: Split shift
o 7:30am - 9:30am
o 3:00pm - 5:30pm
* Days: Monday to Friday
* Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
* Start Date: ASAP (subject to DBS clearance)
Key Responsibilities
* Opening and locking the school site daily
* Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
* Ensuring the premises are clean, safe, and secure
* Health & safety checks across the site
* Setting up rooms and spaces for school activities/events
* Monitoring contractors and deliveries where required
* Reporting maintenance issues promptly
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous caretaking, maintenance, or site management experience
* A practical and hands-on approach
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures
* Strong reliability and punctuality
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
