We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience in DevOps and cloud-native development, ideally within a financial services or large enterprise environment.
This is a fully on-site role based in Glasgow, so applicants must be local or willing to relocate.Role OverviewYou'll operate at the intersection of Java development and infrastructure automation, playing a key role in building and maintaining cloud-based services on Microsoft Azure. You'll also contribute to the automation of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Jenkins.Key Responsabilities:
1. Develop scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot
2. Build and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform on Azure
3. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
4. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to automate deployment processes
5. Contribute to cloud integration, environment automation, and release readiness
Essential Skills:
6. Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
7. Proven expertise in Terraform and CI/CD pipeline automation (especially Jenkins)
8. Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, infrastructure, and deployments
9. Background in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering
