We are a direct delivery specialist contractor to both the water industry and wider water environment. We currently hold 29 frameworks, and we work with most of the UK’s water companies and the Environment Agency.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, as an ESG Manager, you will be responsible for driving our commitment to sustainability, engaging stakeholders, overseeing, and advising on our ESG strategy. You'll lead in developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies aligned with Stonbury's ESG objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement across all ESG performance metrics.
- Work closely with senior management to develop and execute the company's Sustainability and ESG strategy.
- Identify, advise on, and implement new ESG strategies with key focus on carbon reduction
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate ESG principles into business practices.
- Monitor and report on our ESG performance, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Conduct thorough analysis and review of ESG data to identify emerging trends and potential risks.
- Provide education and training to employees on ESG principles, policies, and practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance.
- Collaborate with the SHWEQ and Supply Chain teams by participating in various audits such as, Carbon Reduction Scheme, ISO Certification.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a passionate individual with:
1. Experience working in the ESG or sustainability field
2. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills for data processing.
3. Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
