Accounts and Business Advisory Senior Manager - Stockport We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Stockport who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts and Business Advisory Senior Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, developing junior team members, and playing an active role in the growth of the business. The Role You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients while supporting the day-to-day running of your section, contributing to workflow planning, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a varied client base. You’ll work closely with Directors and Partners while also having the autonomy to take ownership of client relationships and identify opportunities to support the wider Group’s growth. Key Responsibilities Manage your own portfolio of clients with a high level of responsibility Oversee and support team portfolios Assist with workflow management across the team Deliver all aspects of client service, with Partner/Director support on specialist technical matters Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Identify opportunities for additional services and growth across the Group Provide proactive support to clients while reducing day-to-day Partner involvement Take responsibility for delivering high-quality advice and service Support, coach, and mentor junior team members Work collaboratively while also being confident operating autonomously Contribute to revenue and profitability targets About You ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent) Previous experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice Experience working with clients across a range of industries Strong communication and relationship management skills Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff Commercially aware with a proactive mindset What’s on Offer?
