£13,000 per annumWe are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Administrator / Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy and growing finance team in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous accounts or finance administration experience who is looking for a flexible part-time role within a supportive office environment.This position would suit candidates with experience in Accounts Administration, Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, Finance Administration, Data Entry, Customer Service, or Office Administration roles.Key Responsibilities Supporting the Accounts Payable team with day-to-day finance administrationHandling incoming and outgoing phone calls professionallySpeaking with suppliers and customers to resolve queriesMonitoring and maintaining the accounts payable inboxPrinting and processing invoicesData entry including supplier returns and credit notesUpdating spreadsheets relating to returns and credit notesAssisting with monthly supplier statements and reconciliationsFiling delivery notes and matching invoicesOrganising and filing fuel receiptsSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative dutiesWhat Were Looking For Previous experience within an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, Finance Assistant, Customer Service, or Administration roleStrong IT skills including good Excel knowledgeExcellent verbal communication and telephone mannerStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyA flexible and proactive approachConfident dealing with suppliers and customers professionallyStrong organisational and time management skillsSelf-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic attitudeWhy Apply?
