Overview
Imagine walking into a school where young people feel confident to talk about their worries, because you\'ve helped create that environment. This is the impact you\'ll have as a Schools Practitioner with our Edgbaston team. You will be part of a team that is changing how mental health support is delivered in education, giving children and families the help they need at the right time.
You will support children and young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, offering one to one sessions, group work and family support that help them feel understood and valued. You will work closely with teachers and school staff, helping them build mentally healthy learning environments where pupils can grow in confidence and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
You will also be a guiding presence for colleagues, supporting and mentoring Education Mental Health Practitioners and trainees as they develop their skills. By sharing your expertise with schools, families and partner agencies, you will play an important part in shaping a service that is inclusive, compassionate and effective.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to use their empathy, creativity and professional skills to help children and young people find their voice, overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
