Overview
Practice Consultant - Occupational Therapist 8747 is a permanent, part-time role (18.5 hours per week) based at County Hall, Norwich. Salary: £21,911 to £24,113 per annum (Scale K).
Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate and lead the OT duty function and oversee incoming referrals for Occupational Therapy (OT).
* Allocate cases to Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners (OTAPs).
* Provide supervision, case consultation, and support professional development for OTs and OTAPs.
* Offer guidance and support in managing complex cases within a social care locality team.
* Collaborate with the Occupational Therapy Team Manager and integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver efficient, effective and value-for-money services.
Qualifications
* Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC (or equivalent) and in good standing.
* Experience in a senior or supervisory role within adult social care or community OT settings preferred.
* Ability to work in a hybrid model with strong communication and organisational skills.
