Pay: £13.00 per hour Job Description: Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Great Bridge Contract: Temp to Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced and demanding distribution environment in B70. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual looking to secure a long-term position within a growing operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, from goods receipt through to dispatch, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service. Key Responsibilities * Receiving and checking supplier deliveries for accuracy, quality, and condition * Safely unloading and loading vehicles using an FLT * Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders to a high standard * Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and stock levels are accurately maintained * Completing and managing all warehouse documentation efficiently * Liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries * Checking orders prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and completeness * Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment * Supporting stock control processes, including periodic stock counts * Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures * Following ISO9001:2015 standards, SOPs, and internal processes What We’re Looking For * Valid FLT licence * Good working knowledge of MS Office * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Good numeracy and communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-focused approach Key Attributes * Reliable, hardworking, and adaptable * Strong problem-solving skills * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload * Polite, professional, and conscientious * A team player with a positive attitude What’s in it for You? * Temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability * Opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team * Hands-on role in a fast-moving distribution environment
