About the Opportunity
Our client, a leader in Medical Device / Healthcare Technology, is looking for a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer (SAM Module)to join their team for a part-time (10–20 hours per week)engagement. This project involves supporting the configuration, integration, and optimization of the new ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) module. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
* Lead technical configuration and developmentof the ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management) module.
* Design and implementworkflows, business rules, integrations, and automation related to software asset lifecycle management.
* Support data normalization, reconciliation, and software discovery processesto ensure data accuracy.
* Configure dashboards, reporting, and compliance tracking capabilitiesfor SAM.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams(IT Asset Management, Procurement, Infrastructure, and Security) on platform usage and strategy.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
* Deep expertise in implementing or supporting ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management), with strong knowledge of Software Discovery & Normalization, Reconciliation & Compliance Reporting, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, CMDB, and ITAM data structures. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomouslyand manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
* Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)for custom development.
* Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and engage with technical and functional stakeholders, including availability for key meetings during EST business hours.
