Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit an Associate Director within our Glasgow Project Controls Team. As Associate Director, we are seeking someone with proven infrastructure experience to lead major programmes in Scotland. If you’re interested in working with one of the UK's leading consultancy providers across infrastructure, then we’re keen to discuss this exciting opportunity with you.
Job Objectives
1. Deliver Project Controls across major programmes in Scotland.
2. Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring for accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment, and performance reporting, deploying available controls team resources effectively.
3. Business development.
Other Responsibilities Include
* Review new project proposals/remits and monitor to ensure realistic, resource plans are developed for delivery of the programme.
* Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
* Provide efficient day-to-day services to Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment, and performance.
* Ensure data input by project teams and others to cost and performance systems meet required standards.
* Manage the production of the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework.
Qualifications
* Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis, in both field and office settings.
* Proven experience within the infrastructure sector.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications.
* Proficiency with discipline-specific software such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office applications; intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes.
* Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
