You will bring creativity, commitment and high expectations for all pupils, 3 days per week. SENDCo As our SENDCo, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering high-quality provision for pupils with SEND. You will work strategically and operationally to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need to flourish, 2 days per week. You will: lead and manage the school’s SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice identify and assess pupils with additional needs and coordinate effective interventions work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and families liaise with external specialists and agencies maintain accurate SEND records, including EHCPs and provision maps monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND provision be a qualified teacher holding NASENCO or NPQ for SEN (or be working towards it) be a reflective, caring and knowledgeable practitioner be an effective communicator and confident leader be committed to improving outcomes for pupils with SEND.
