Brief Overview
We’re supporting a major name in the home and lifestyle space who are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager — someone who genuinely lives and breathes social, understands platform behaviours, and knows how to make brands impossible to scroll past.
The role
This is a senior role for a true specialist. You’ll shape the social strategy, lead the thinking, and still be hands-on enough to bring brilliant content to life. Two big focuses sit at the heart of it: building a proper community (real advocates, not just followers) and driving consumer awareness, engagement, and purchase intent through creative, insight-led content.
You’ll work closely with brand and marketing teams, external agencies, supporting launches, major campaigns, and retail partners. You’ll take ownership of planning, content direction, performance, organic and paid activity, and you’ll be constantly testing, tweaking and optimising to keep the brand sharp across every channel.
If you instinctively know what works on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, understand the difference between a quick like and meaningful impact, and enjoy turning insight into strong, platform-native work, you’ll enjoy this one.
What we’re after
You’ll bring a fair few years’ experience at a senior social level, and most of all, a proven record of success in growing audiences, engagement, and online communities. In short, you’ll know your onions & can lead from the front.
You’ll also bring deep platform knowledge, experience across both organic and paid, strong content instincts and an analytical edge. Experience with lifestyle or home-improvement audiences is a welcome bonus.
