Clinical Deputy Home Manager – TipTopJob
A newly opened nursing home in Olney, Buckinghamshire welcomes a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager. The role reports directly to the Home Manager and may sometimes require working outside the office or covering the floor alongside nurses.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager and manage day‑to‑day operations in their absence.
* Co‑manage all aspects of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC requirements.
* Guarantee that service users receive high‑standard, user‑centred care and opportunities for growth and independence.
* Provide flexible coverage, including on‑floor supervision and collaboration with nursing staff.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
* Strong interpersonal skills to engage service users and understand their needs.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staff.
* Proficient clinical skills and knowledge.
* Ability to involve service users and families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programmes.
Qualifications
* Register as an RGN or RMN Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
