Still interested? What You'll Be Doing
As a Claims Handler, you'll be the first point of contact for clients dealing with road traffic accidents, personal injury, and vehicle damage claims. You'll manage your own caseload, ensuring every client receives the highest level of support. Communication is key—you'll work closely with colleagues, clients, and third parties to ensure smooth claim resolution.
You'll need to work towards targets and deadlines in a proactive environment while taking full ownership of your cases. This role is fully office-based in Newcastle with a 40-hour workweek (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), including one late shift per week (up to 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM) and 1-2 weekend shifts per month on an overtime rota.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for confident, articulate individuals with a passion for customer service. Ideally, you'll have:
* Contact centre experience
* Target-driven mindset with KPI experience
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities
* Attention to detail and accuracy
Previous experience in insurance, case management, or motor claims is a bonus, but not essential
