GSL Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a vibrant and inclusive school located in Dunscroft. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant (TA), who wants to make a positive impact on students' learning journeys.
As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils with their learning under the direction of the class teacher.
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Working one-to-one or with small groups to support individual learning needs.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitoring and reporting student progress to teaching staff.
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
* Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A calm, encouraging, and patient approach.
* An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
