Main duties include providing assessment and therapy to children with SLCN, report writing, and parent/carer training. Work may involve children with complex needs such as ASD, DLD, and speech disorders, in mainstream and special schools. We value your preferences for work locations.

Job responsibilities
Clinical - Patient/Client Care
1. Develop and deliver speech and language therapy services across universal, targeted, and specialist levels.
2. Make differential diagnoses based on assessments to guide interventions.
3. Communicate complex information effectively to patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
4. Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality, especially when discussing distressing information.
5. Collaborate with patients, families, and professionals to develop care plans, seeking supervisor advice for complex cases.
6. Offer varied treatment options, including using interpreters and AAC tools.
7. Show empathy and adapt communication to individual needs, respecting cultural, linguistic, and gender differences.
8. Build productive relationships with clients, especially those under stress or with challenging communication needs.
