This is your chance to help young people in Greater Manchester have a clear line of sight to high quality jobs by delivering everyday support through high quality digital services. The Youth Employment and Opportunities Team is looking for a Programme Manager to grow the reach and impact of Youth Employment and Opportunities (YEO) digital services, including GMACS, Beeline and Curriculum for Life.
The successful candidate will lead engagement that helps both young people and those that support them find, use and benefit from YEO digital services. You will build partnerships across Greater Manchester, turn feedback into practical improvements, and create clear routes for young people to shape services through co‑design and content co‑creation. You will work closely with GMCA Digital, Communications and partners in education and more widely to increase the quality use of our digital services by young people at school, at home, and in their communities.
Qualifications
* Organised, proactive programme manager with strong stakeholder engagement experience, ideally across education, employability, youth services and/or the voluntary and community sector
* Comfortable working with digital services, bringing partners with you, and keeping multiple projects on the go at any one time
* Involves young people meaningfully and turns what you learn into improvements
Benefits and Working Conditions
In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive package. The role is part of GMCA’s hybrid working scheme, combining on‑site attendance with remote working from home, with the pattern agreed in partnership with your manager.
