Job Description
YT Technologies are working on behalf of our client in Brighton on the lookout for a service engineer to support, install and repair electro-mechanical equipment for customers across the UK and internationally. A UK driving license is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line technical support via phone, email and site visits
* Diagnose, repair and service instruments within agreed turnaround times
* Install systems and deliver customer training
* Maintain accurate service reports and customer records
* Assist with product testing and occasional instrument builds
* Promote service contracts and parts
* Travel within the UK and overseas as required
Requirements
1. Proven experience in an electro-mechanical environment
2. HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline
3. Strong practical skills: fault-finding, wiring, soldering, use of test tools
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings
5. Good communication and customer-facing skills
6. Computer literate (MS Office)
7. Full UK driving licence and valid passport
8. Able to lift and handle equipment when required
9. Experience using hand tools
