Overview
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a HCPC Registered Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our team working in a variety of settings across North Staffordshire. This is a rotational post which consists of 4 monthly rotations covering a wide range of specialties. This may include Musculoskeletal & Rheumatology OP, Neurological Rehabilitation inpatients & community, pulmonary rehabilitation, D2A inpatients and general domiciliary visits. You will provide physiotherapy assessments and treatments across a variety of clinical settings, for example, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Community Hospitals and Community Home Visits. You will work as part of a uni/multi-disciplinary team/agencies to provide services for a range of care/support issues across the spectrum of conditions to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions. We can offer flexible working arrangements and can offer full-time and part-time options.
Responsibilities
* Assess new service user referrals and care/support needs.
* Assess service users and formulate, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of treatment / care / support for individuals, families and carers.
* Ability to support patients with rehabilitation and self-management/ strategies.
* Ability to manage time and caseload effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
As a Band 5 Physiotherapist you will assess and have an awareness of a variety of MSK, neurological and respiratory conditions.
