Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, patient, and supportive Personal Assistant (PA) to assist a 13‑year‑old girl in safely accessing the community and participating in a variety of leisure activities.
Responsibilities
* Managing challenging behavior calmly, confidently, and safely.
* Supporting emotional regulation and helping the child remain engaged in activities.
* Encouraging positive behavior and participation in activities.
* Working in line with agreed behavior support strategies and risk‑management plans.
* Assisting the child to access the community and leisure activities.
Qualifications
* Calm, confident, and dependable.
* Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, or challenging behaviours.
* Physically able to ensure the young person’s safety while out in the community.
* Ability to use clear, consistent, and literal communication while maintaining firm but fair boundaries.
* Must be able to drive.
