We are currently recruiting a Regional Operations Manager (Known internally as a Regional Logistics Manager) to support the overall P&L performance of a geographic area through the application of end to end logistics and order fulfilment reporting to the General Manager. Responsibilities include Day book Co-ordination, Transport Planning and Regional Administration.

Responsibilities include:
Working in co-operation with the Regional Engineering and Regional Transport teams to ensure order fulfilment.
Positioning and promoting Nationwide Platforms brand image in the region as the preferred powered access provider.
Effectively managing the output from Transport planning team and related services to fulfil all orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Establishing clear accountabilities and responsibilities for teams and ensure individuals are focused on areas which improve and exceed key performance indicators and customer expectations.
Coaching, leading and developing team members to drive engagement and results.
Achieving the required minimum return on investment and machine utilisation.
Directing, developing, motivating and supporting the wider team and business, ensuring that the overall objectives are met to agreed timescales.
Establishing strong people management practices across the region to attract, develop and retain key skills and competencies required for business performance.
Ensuring the region is aware of and adheres to local and externally relevant health & safety laws and policies.
Analysing, evaluating and monitoring all key operational performance indicators ensuring performance is clearly understood regarding customer service, operational efficiency, and financial targets to ensure regional objectives are being achieved.
Setting the standards of ethics, behaviour and attitude required in the workforce through the demonstrating of management best practice and commitment to company values.
The successful candidate will be/have:
A great communicator, able to influence internal and external customers, to resolve issues and queries effectively at pace.
Blending technical know-how, real-world experience, and strong people skills to build trust, win support, and drive successful negotiations
Strong people management skills, with demonstratable leadership experience.
Proven track record of operating in a similar logistics management/ order fulfilment capacity.
Strong IT skills, including MS Suite.
Previous experience of P&L management including planning, risk management and accounting processes.
Extensive knowledge of Powered Access Hire Industry and/or Plant Hire Industry including customer base, competitor activity and buying behaviour.
Understanding of business planning activities to include cost recovery, revenue recognition and organisational design.
Able to balance short- and long-term goals, is motivated to hit performance targets and assigns clear levels of responsibility.
IPAF Licence (desirable not essential).
Driving Licence (essential).
