Role: FP&A Manager
Salary: up to £75,000
Location: Southampton (hybrid available)
We are seeking a commercially astute and analytically driven FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the group. This role is pivotal in driving strategic decision‑making through insightful reporting and data‑driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in NetSuite ERP and Power BI, enabling seamless integration of financial data and advanced visual analytics.
FP&A Manager, the role
* Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes across business units.
* Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
* Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and challenge assumptions.
* Own monthly reporting packs, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards.
* Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, NetSuite ERP and related systems, and reporting tools.
* Consolidate and analyse data from NetSuite to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for real‑time performance tracking and executive reporting.
* Support M&A activity, investment appraisals, and post‑deal integration analysis.
* Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts.
* Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
FP&A Manager, the person
* Proven experience in a senior FP&A or commercial finance role.
* Advanced proficiency in NetSuite ERP—reporting, data extraction, and financial consolidation.
* Experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), with a focus on aligning strategic, financial, and operational plans across functions to drive enterprise‑wide decision‑making, performance visibility, and long‑term value creation.
* Strong expertise in Power BI—data modelling, DAX, and dashboard creation.
* Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
* Experience in a multi‑entity or group structure is highly desirable.
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
Desirable
* Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
* Exposure to SaaS, tech, or services sectors.
* Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
* Proactive, curious, and solutions‑oriented.
