Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant / Lead with strong stakeholder management and proven expertise in implementing Oracle’s Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions for UK Public Sector clients. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge across Talent and Learn modules, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to lead discussions across functional, technical, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver Oracle HCM Cloud implementations for UK Public Sector clients, with a focus on Talent and Learn modules.
* Participate in and lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)/Playback sessions, prepare training content, and deliver technical training sessions.
* Design and build security roles – including job roles, data roles, and security profiles – aligned with business requirements.
* Manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through design, build, testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation support.
* Drive Redwood UX enablement, leveraging Redwood tools to enhance user experience.
* Lead integration discussions, data migration activities, and reporting for HCM modules.
* Identify and proactively mitigate technical, functional, and security risks.
* Prepare and maintain status reports (RAG), highlight risks and mitigations, and manage RAID logs.
* Communicate complex technology solutions clearly to technical, business, and management teams.
* Work effectively within Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery frameworks in a global delivery environment.
* Manage and mentor team members (team size of 6+ is a plus).
Required Skills & Experience
* 8+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, with deep expertise in Talent and Learn modules.
* Proven experience configuring HCM Cloud to meet business requirements, including approvals, DFFs, EFFs, Journeys, and other functional components.
* Hands-on experience working with UK Public Sector clients is essential.
* Strong experience in security role design – job roles, data roles, security profiles.
* Proficiency in Redwood enablement and related tools for UX enhancements.
* Solid understanding of SDLC processes with end-to-end implementation exposure.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with HCM technical tools including:
* HCM Data Loader (HDL)
* HCM Extract
* BI Reporting
* Fast Formulae
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience managing teams is desirable.
