Civils / Street Lighting Operative Full Time | Permanent | Greater London Salary: Dependent on Experience Requirement: Full Clean UK Driving Licence The Role We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Civils / Street Lighting Operative, working on installation, maintenance, and repair projects across the Greater London area. You will support our capital and operational teams to deliver high-quality street lighting, electrical, and associated civils works to the highest standards. Essential Criteria Experience & Skills: * Proven experience in street lighting or civils operations. * Skilled in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and street furniture. Desirable Qualifications: * G39 Certification (or equivalent electrical competency) * NRSWA Certification * MEWP Certification * ECS Card * First Aid Certification (for Appointed Persons) Other Requirements: * Full clean UK driving licence * Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and procedures Key Responsibilities * Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair street lighting columns, lanterns, and related electrical equipment. * Electrical Works: Terminate, join, and test cables to ensure safety and optimal performance. * Troubleshooting: Identify faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely. * Civils Works: Assist with minor excavation, groundwork, and reinstatement as part of project delivery. * Inspections: Conduct visual and electrical inspections of street lighting infrastructure and associated works. * Project Support: Provide additional assistance to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
