Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position requires a proactive approach to engaging with customers and promoting our products effectively. Along with stock management, replenishing stock, merchandising and movement of stock
Previous retail experience is required. Part time hours and Full time hours considered.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need.
* Provide knowledgeable information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
* Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
* Process transactions accurately at the till while handling cash and card payments.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
* Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required by the business needs.
* Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately.
