An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Income team for the right person to join as a Benefit Caseworker. This team oversees all income collection for our customers whilst providing a holistic service to support them with their income and benefits. As a Benefit Caseworker, you will assist in delivering an efficient, high-quality welfare advice service to our customers, supporting those with mandatory reconsiderations and appeals of benefit decisions. Your role will help increase customers' income to support their tenancy sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality welfare advice and support to customers regarding benefits.
* Assist customers with mandatory reconsiderations and appeals of benefit decisions.
* Help increase customer income to support their tenancy.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of benefit casework.
* Experience representing clients at Tribunal or Court.
* Experience delivering specialist training to teams.
