Registered Veterinary Nurse – 12‑month FTC
Join our thriving practice, offering a competitive salary and a supportive team environment just 40 minutes from Liverpool and Preston! Opened in 2016 on the border of Ormskirk, our team of four vets, a practice manager, RVNs, SVNs, VCAs and admin staff runs a range of chargeable clinics and performs a variety of schedule 2 procedures. We have a low staff turnover and a strong nurse ratio, enabling our nurses to fulfil their full potential.
We are committed to a healthy work/life balance and constantly strive to improve both clinical and non‑clinical aspects of our practice. We encourage open communication and welcome ideas on how to enhance our environment.
About you
As a small team, we look for someone who values building relationships within the team and with clients. You should be comfortable running nurse clinics, monitoring anaesthetics, taking X‑rays, providing inpatient care, and performing schedule 3 procedures. A positive, methodical approach to daily priorities, the ability to manage time, and a passion for nursing – without sacrificing a healthy balance – are essential.
