An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our teaching team and make a significant contribution to our Humanities department by sharing your passion of Humanities with our students.
About the role
You’ll be committed to delivering high-quality lessons across all abilities in line with relevant curriculum requirements, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained. Your role will include collaborating with those in the wider Humanities faculty to sustain and raise class achievement to an outstanding level.
Key requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status
2. Relevant specialist qualifications and subject experience (e.g BA Hons degree in Geography)
3. Full understanding of curriculum requirements for Humanities
4. Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
5. Understanding of how to implement assessment methods for differentiated learning strategies

Applicants must provide a full employment history, including education, employment and voluntary work, and explain any gaps in employment. These will be explored as part of the shortlisting and interview process.
References must include the applicant’s current or most recent employer and the last employer where the applicant worked with children, where applicable. References will be sought and verified directly, and candidates must not obtain their own references.
If shortlisted, any discrepancies, anomalies or concerns identified during the recruitment process will be discussed at interview and/or during pre-employment checks.
Where a role involves regulated activity relevant to children, applicants will be informed that it is an offence to apply if they are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
