Packaging Associate I
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Associate I to join our production team in East Grinstead. This role is vital to the manufacture of microbiological diagnostic products used in healthcare and food safety.
This is a 9-month contract position within a controlled cleanroom environment, offering a great entry point into the life sciences and manufacturing sector.
The Role
Working as part of a dedicated production team, you will be responsible for:
Production Support: Feeding, checking, and loading plates onto drying trays.
Packing & Labeling: Sealing products in foil pouches and boxing them for shipment.
Quality Control: Ensuring batch numbers are reconciled and documentation is updated accurately.
Environment Upkeep: Maintaining cleanliness standards within a controlled cleanroom area.
Schedule & Pay
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour (plus 20% shift allowance).
Hours: 31.5 hours per week.
Shift Pattern: Rotating 2-week schedule (includes alternating weekends).
Shift Times: Varied starts between 07:30 and 09:15.
Overtime: Available.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: No previous experience required (full training provided). Experience in manufacturing, production, or a lab setting is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict processes.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift moderate weights and work on your feet.
