This position requires 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with any 5 in 6 days including bank holidays. Our drivers are the face of our business and interact closely with customers to deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals. The role involves working in a cold store at –20 °C with protective clothing provided and scheduled breaks to warm up. Drivers must deliver meals timely, pick orders, use our app to update deliveries, provide exceptional customer service, conduct van inspections, drive safely, maintain van cleanliness, report issues, assist teammates, and carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet drops and visits to sheltered housing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner
- Pick orders within the cold store
- Use our app to update customer deliveries
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Undertake pre‑shift inspection of your van
- Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
- Clean and refuel your van as needed
- Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
- Ensure customer confidentiality
- Help the office and picking teams when required
- Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
- Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday
- Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
Essential
- Experience within a customer‑service‑based role
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps
- Evidence of work stability
- Basic secondary education

Requirements
You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years. All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and basic DBS checks. As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS Disclosure.
