Freelance Java Developer (Outside IR35) £450–£550/day | Remote (UK-Based) | Occasional travel to Hammersmith or Farnborough
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Java Developer to join a long-term programme focused on building scalable, cloud-native platforms within the Financial Services Payments sector. This is a fully remote role for UK-based candidates, with occasional on-site collaboration in Farnborough or Hammersmith.
Strong Java development experience (Spring Boot, Microservices)
Proficiency with AWS services (Java Spark, EMR, Lambda, native AWS databases)
Experience with AWS Glue or large-scale data processing tools
Outside IR35 contract
Competitive day rate (£450–£550)
Long-term engagement through 2026
Remote-first working with some flexibility for on-site collaboration
