Role: Physics Graduate Academic Mentor
Location: Islington, London
Contract: Full-time, September Start 1-year contract (extension for Teacher Teaching possible)
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physics Graduate to support students across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is the perfect stepping stone for those considering a career in teaching or teacher training programme in the near future.
Physics Graduate | You will:
* Work closely with students to build confidence in Physics.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
* Provide one-to-one or small group intervention sessions.
* Support practical work in labs and help maintain equipment.
* Gain classroom experience and mentoring from experienced teachers.
Physics Graduate | About You:
1. A 2:1 or above in Physics (or related discipline)
2. Passionate about Science and Education
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
5. Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
