Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse at University Hospital Ayr.
What you will do
As an NMC-registered nurse, you will be part of the nursing team providing high-standard, person-centered care within Station 2, a busy 24-bed acute general surgical and receiving ward.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with effective time management, are essential. You will work effectively with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring evidence-based practice and the highest level of care. You will play a key role in providing safe, effective, person-centered care at all times.
Knowledge, training, and experience required
* You will be a registered nurse with current NMC registration.
* Working knowledge of Ayrshire & Arran policies and procedures.
* Ability to keep relevant skills and knowledge updated and documented.
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to supervise and mentor students and junior staff.
Additional Information
Hours: 34.5 hours per week.
