A well-regarded secondary school in Newham is seeking to appoint a dedicated and knowledgeable Computing Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering high-quality Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers looking to begin their career within a strong and collaborative school environment.
The role will involve:
* Planning and delivering engaging Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Supporting students in developing confidence and proficiency in digital skills and computer science
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
* Contributing to the wider life of the department and school community
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom practice
The successful candidate will:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve it
* Have strong subject knowledge within Computing or ICT
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Be committed to delivering inclusive and engaging learning experiences
* Have a positive and professional approach to teaching and learning
