We are excited to offer the position of Manager – Finance Manufacturing for our onsite Finance Team at IPL. The role supports two operational sites (Normanton & Telford), acting as the finance lead and senior line manager for both locations while partnering closely with site General Managers and the Nuts & Dried Fruit Buying Manager.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Location: IPL Normanton (minimum 3 days in office, including 1 day in Telford) (inc 1 day per week in Telford)
Contract Type: Fixed‑Term until May 2027
Key Responsibilities
* Finance lead for Normanton and Telford sites, with two direct reports (one in each location).
* Business partner with site General Managers, Production, and Procurement teams.
* Produce timely and accurate weekly and monthly accounts and forecasts.
* Control annual budgeting and weekly forecasting processes for operations and the Nuts & Dried Fruit procurement unit.
* Prepare and present management information to key stakeholders.
* Own standard costing and cost‑modeling duties, including system interfaces.
* Identify capital‑expenditure opportunities, calculate payback, and manage post‑capex reviews.
* Challenge operational overhead spend and identify savings.Manage inventory for packaging, raw material, finished goods and goods in transit.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical and variance‑analysis skills.
* Advanced Excel proficiency.
* Experience with Prophet, D365, Anaplan, or Power BI is desirable.
* Ability to influence senior leaders.
* Operational finance experience.
* Commercial finance background.
* Inventory and forecasting experience.
* Business‑partnering experience.
* Team‑leadership capability.
* Fresh‑produce knowledge is desirable.
* Qualified in CIMA or an equivalent qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
* Willingness to travel to Telford once per week (travel costs covered).
* Ability to work in an environment where nut allergens are present.
