Term time plus some holiday work (approximately 35-37 weeks a year)
Working hours 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday
You will be working in our catering department as part of an energetic & diverse team under our catering manager, alongside a lovely team of people serving children and staff. After service you will help clean and tidy as per our cleaning schedule.
We are ideally looking for someone with previous catering experience and food safety level 2 which is desirable but no previous experience required, as full training will be provided.
We are a busy school who like to hold various hospitality events, so from time to time you may be asked to help work at these. Some examples are Sports Day BBQ, Bonfire night, House suppers, Summer concerts etc. The larger hospitality events aren't every week and there is plenty of notice of when they will take place.
We provide further training such as HACCP, manual handling and allergy awareness.
We provide staff uniform, meals on duty, free parking and social events.
Your annual pay is divided between 12 months.
You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks statutory holiday pay.
