Senior DevOps Manager | Kubernetes (EKS) Product Owner

Hands-on senior engineer responsible for designing, operating, and evolving production Kubernetes platforms on AWS EKS. Owns platform epics end-to-end and provides technical direction across a shared backlog. This is a senior individual contributor role, not a people-management post.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and operate enterprise-scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters
* Own cluster lifecycle: upgrades, security, networking, multi-cluster strategy
* Deliver GitOps-based deployments (ArgoCD / Flux)
* Build and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
* Operate and improve platform reliability and production support
* Partner with application, security, and architecture teams
* Provide technical leadership through design reviews, pairing, and mentoring
Required Experience
* Deep, hands-on Kubernetes production experience (EKS strongly preferred)
* Strong knowledge of K8s networking, security, and multi-tenancy
* Proven experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
* GitOps delivery experience (ArgoCD / Flux)
* Strong AWS background (Azure/GCP a plus)
* Solid networking fundamentals (VPC, CIDR, routing, firewalls, DNS)
* Confident with Linux CLI, Bash, and Python
Nice to Have
* CNCF tooling: Cilium, Kyverno, Karpenter, Helm, Prometheus
* Internal Developer Platform / self-service platform experience
* Multi-cluster or hybrid cloud environments
