Role & Responsibilities
* Design and implement cost-saving initiatives and projects across relevant spending categories.
* Collaborate with Global and other Procurement colleagues to leverage FLB's scale for optimal solutions.
* Engage customers to achieve buy-in and drive successful cost-saving and value-added projects.
* Deliver value through external supply partners with benefits like shorter lead times, better payment terms, and innovative solutions.
* Utilize sourcing and procurement tools and methodologies in daily operations.
* Implement supplier performance management and metrics to enhance supplier performance.
Qualifications And Experience
* Degree or Equivalent Qualification (Essential)
* Minimum of 5 GCSE (Essential)
* CIP’s Qualified to level 4 or actively working towards (Essential)
* Demonstrable experience of managing within a team or management of processes (Desirable)
* Demonstrable experience of managing vendors and a purchasing process within a manufacturing environment (Essential)
