Sparta Global are looking for a Business Analyst to join on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract and support on a banking programme based in Sheffield.
This role will be supporting multiple digital/technology projects within a wider IT Transformation, so we will be prioritising candidates who have experience working on digital projects within banks or financial services institutions.
Role Responsibilities:
* Capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements, making sure they align with key strategic principles wider strategy.
* Supporting the design and facilitation of workshops, stakeholder interviews, discovery activities to populate and enrich business change user stories and acceptance criteria
* Reviewing existing process and system documentation to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
* Validating user stories using research, system analysis, data and customer insight to make informed decisions on priorities and focus
* Helping identify team priorities based on feedback from colleagues and stakeholders.
* Supporting team members in identifying user stories; building and prioritising the product backlogs, encouraging innovation and the identification of customer-centred journeys, to better serve customers.
Experience Required:
* Strong working knowledge of Agile values, principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience of working within an Agile environment.
* Ability to translate high‐level concepts into clear, actionable requirements.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Experience on projects within banks or financial services institutions.
