Parts Advisor
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Parts Advisor to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our parts department, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to both internal and external customers. This position requires a thorough understanding of automotive parts, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret customer needs and supply goods as requested, utilising a thorough knowledge of parts catalogues and systems
* Provide expert advice on parts selection, fitment, and compatibility to customers and technicians
* Process parts orders, manage inventory, and maintain accurate stock levels
* Utilise the Kerridge/ADP computer system for parts lookup, ordering, and inventory management
* Ensure timely delivery of parts to service departments and external customers
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently
* Maintain a clean and organised parts department
* Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and management to ensure smooth operations
* Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and parts innovations
* Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
