📝 Key Responsibilities
1. 📂 Independently manage complex and high-risk caseloads, including assessment, planning, and Child in Need plans
2. 📘 Practice in line with HCPC Code of Practice, Professional Standards for Social Workers, and PCF
3. 👩💼 Provide line management for Social Workers (up to Level 2)
4. 👥 Mentor and support less experienced staff
5. 🧭 Deputise for Case Supervisor when required
6. 📝 Complete robust Single Assessments, analysing risk and need
7. 🔄 Monitor, review, and reassess care/support packages
8. 🤝 Work in partnership with external agencies and act as Lead Professional when required
9. 🔧 Use evidence-based social work methods to achieve care objectives
10. 👨👩👧 Conduct direct work with children, families, and carers
11. 🚨 Take necessary statutory action in relation to safety or liberty of children
12. 🏛️ Prepare detailed statements/applications for Family Court
13. 🗂️ Perform statutory duties for children in need and those looked after
14. 🔚 Ensure timely and effective case closure
15. 💻 Maintain accurate casework records, chronologies, and reports in line with legislation
16. 🧩 Participate in multi-agency meetings and panels
17. 💬 Provide advice, guidance, and information on services for children and families
