Senior Associate – Technology Disputes – London
A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its Technology Disputes team in London. The group is recognised as a leading force in the tech, media and telecommunications sector, advising some of the world’s largest technology companies on complex, high-value commercial and contractual disputes.
The Role
You’ll work with a market-leading team on some of the most significant technology disputes in the UK and internationally. Clients range from global tech giants and media platforms to major corporates and public-sector organisations.
Summary
Title: Senior Associate
Location: London
Salary: £110,000 - £130,000 DoE
Previous Experience: 5+ PQE within IT/technology disputes
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on high-value IT and outsourcing disputes, including implementation, transformation and project failure claims
* Managing litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and expert determination
* Handling complex contractual and technical issues, such as change control, delay, and breach of contract
* Advising on injunctions, pre-action strategy and risk management for distressed technology projects
* Supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior team members
About you:
* Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE and strong experience in IT/technology disputes
* Proven experience acting for suppliers or customers in large-scale IT, outsourcing or software disputes
* Excellent litigation and negotiation skills, with a commercial and pragmatic mindset
* Exposure to multi-jurisdictional disputes desirable
* Knowledge of AI, IP rights, licensing, or software contracts is an advantage
