The Role of Site Engineer
* The role includes assisting and implementing the organisation of projects in the field as well as the office, providing input as directed into the planning aspects to the project.
* Accountable for field-based logistics including ensuring that the project specification is followed, correct equipment is used and maintained on site and correct health and safety procedures are followed.
* Guidance on specific requirements will be given during the employee induction The Site Engineer is expected to ensure that all technical and site work is carried out to a high standard, safely, on time and within budget.
* Key division of time spent on each part of the job will be set on an annual basis and reviewed regularly.
* Execution of ground investigations
* Contract management on site to including delivery of projects on time and to maximize profits from each contract.
* Maintain an effective line of communication between site and the office.
* Work with Project Managers and Line Managers to develop personal objectives.
The Right Site Engineer
* 2 years' experience within the field
* BSc in Earth Sciences related degree of similar
* SMSTS
* Full UK driving license
