Key Responsibilities For The Senior Backend Developer
Design and implement backend infrastructure to process crime data CSV files received from the police.
Develop APIs for secure data exchange between systems.
Build and deploy microservices for data ingestion and processing workflows.
Host and execute algorithms or data science models within backend services.
Ensure secure data handling and compliance with justice-related data requirements.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment in AWS environments.
Utilise cloud-based monitoring, logging, and scaling tools to maintain system reliability and performance.
Skills And Experience Required For The Senior Backend Developer
Proven experience in backend development, ideally within a microservices architecture.
Proficiency in modern Java or Kotlin for backend development.
Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including deployment, hosting, and service management.
Experience with secure data handling and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring, logging, and scaling tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting delivery timelines and project milestones.
