Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Cashbook Finance Assistant to join our team based at our Group head office in Barlborough, Chesterfield.
The Role

Joining our team as Cashbook Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for the daily management of the cashbooks in the COINS system, and all payments for the business. A fully paperless office, all receipts, refunds and banking are processed and paperwork saved down electronically.
Key duties and requirements
You will also be responsible for but not limited to;
Keeping all cashbooks up to date on a daily basis within the Coins system;
Reviewing and posting all Worldpay transactions
Daily posting of receipts and refunds
Weekly banking
Production of weekly Bank reconciliations
Raising ALL payments for the business
Raising of Sundry Sales Invoices within the Coins system
Raising of Contract Sales Invoices within the Coins system
Credit Control and chasing of all outstanding debts when they become due
Review of Plot Balance reports on a monthly basisWho are we looking for?
As well as being able to demonstrate your experience within a Cash Book & Payments role previously, you must also possess an aptitude to combine strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of staff, whilst also maintaining a keen desire to work in a quality driven business.
You will also possess:

Excellent IT skills including excel
Strong communication skills required when dealing with suppliers & colleagues
An accurate and methodical approach
An organised and motivated outlook
A strong ability to work to deadlines
