About Hipaws

Hipaws is a fast-growing UK-based pet brand focused on premium positioning, strong community engagement, and long-term brand equity. We operate primarily direct-to-consumer, with Amazon and own website as a key sales channel, and are selectively expanding into wholesale and international markets.


Role Overview

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working in a small team and taking ownership across multiple areas.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable operating in a scaling business environment and interested in growing into a more strategic marketing position over time. You will take ownership of planning, coordinating and optimising marketing activity across key channels, while working closely with the Founder on brand direction and growth priorities.

The role combines execution, analysis and strategy development. Over time, there is potential for this position to evolve into a Head of Marketing role as the business grows.


Key Responsibilities


Marketing Execution & Campaign Ownership

* Own day-to-day marketing execution across key channels, including:
o Influencer & Affiliates
o Organic social
o CRM
* Plan and execute campaigns end-to-end, from idea to delivery
* Bring more structure and consistency to campaign planning and timelines
* Support growth across the full customer journey
* Assist with new product launches and selected brand activations or events
* This is a hands‑on role — you will be directly involved in execution across channels


Influencer & Community Marketing

* Manage and execute influencer campaigns (gifted and paid)
* Support influencer outreach and collaboration management
* Help structure and improve influencer tracking and reporting
* Support the development of ambassador / rep‑style programmes over time
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all collaborations
* Manage and grow key marketing channels based on what’s working
* Coordinate activity across channels to ensure consistent messaging and execution
* Assist in testing and scaling new channels or partnerships
* Ensure marketing activity aligns with overall brand direction


Performance Tracking & Optimisation

* Track performance across campaigns and channels (basic metrics such as engagement, conversion, revenue impact)
* Identify what’s working and what’s not, and iterate quickly
* Help build simple reporting structures to improve visibility and consistency
* Use data to inform day‑to‑day decisions and improvements


Brand & Content Support

* Support the development of brand presence across digital channels
* Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and content quality
* Assist in building a more structured and recognisable brand identity over time


We are looking for

* 2–4 years of experience in marketing, ideally within DTC, e‑commerce, or consumer brands
* Comfortable working hands‑on across multiple channels (e.g. influencer, social, email)
* Experience executing campaigns end‑to‑end, not just planning
* Familiarity with performance‑driven channels and basic marketing metrics
* Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced, small team environment
* Proactive mindset with a willingness to figure things out and take ownership
* Is commercially minded and comfortable linking marketing activity to revenue
* Has experience working in small or scaling businesses
* Is confident working autonomously in a remote environment
* Takes ownership and enjoys building systems from the ground up


Nice to have:

* Background in consumer, lifestyle, or pet‑related brands
* Passion for pet or building brand preferred
