Our work spans student conduct, safeguarding, Prevent, support to study and fitness to practise, with a strong emphasis on consistent, trauma‑aware and policy‑led responses. We support colleagues across the University to understand and manage risk appropriately, while ensuring students are treated fairly, sensitively and transparently throughout case processes.

* Maintain accurate, timely and GDPR‑compliant case records, reports and referrals
* Contribute to the development of policy, guidance, training and shared good practice in student case management

We are seeking an experienced Student Cases and Conduct Officer (Safeguarding & Complex Cases) to join our established Student Cases, Conduct and Safeguarding (SCCS) team within Student Experience and Support. Experience of working with students in complex or high‑risk situations, or within a safeguarding or related professional field, would be highly desirable. The role suits someone confident working within policy frameworks and contributing to fair, proportionate and student‑centred decision‑making. Please be aware that the successful candidate for this opportunity will be required to pass a DBS check.
