Plant Manager Scotland with travel My client is a leading resource recycling company who now have a Plant Managers vacancy available and join their operations team based in Scotland. Your role as Plant Manager will be but not limited to; * Ensuring applications and adherence to Group Policies; Equal Opportunities, Quality, Environment and Health & Safety; Establish, promote and lead a zero accident mentality and focus on all aspects of H&S and drive customer satisfaction through quality excellence; Responsible for setting up and delivering the annual site budget exercise in line with the businesses budgeting process; Manage the facility's day-to-day activities including responsibility for Quality, Environmental, H&S Production, Maintenance and Supply Chain; Lead the Team using the organisation (Annual Master Plan, Functional monthly KIT, Site/Country Management Team meetings, Matrix Organisation); Continuously challenge the plant costs, processes and capabilities in order to get the maximum in terms of cost, services and flexibility; Prepare capital expenditure cases to invest in new technologies/processes and Identify Capex needs in alignment with strategic plans; Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, R&DI and Purchasing to deliver profitable results and growth; Acquire, Develop, Coach and Plan progress of all key employees/positions within the organisation; Open communication to all employees, to union's representatives and internally within the business area reporting on KPI, share success stories. In order to be considered for this role your will have; * Master degree in Business or Industrial Engineering degree desirable; Experience running a recycling plant previously; IOSH; 5 years successful experience as Operations or Plant Manager; Strong experience in Lean manufacturing, 6sigma and Agile methodologies (Scrum); Successful experience in creating, leading and coaching teams; Technically oriented leadership experience with a track record of successfully implementing a Quality and Safety Culture; Proven track record of delivery in a complex multinational, matrix environment similar in size and organisation; * * Travel to another sites twice a month. * * For further details about this position, please email a copy of your CV to Rebecca
