Role Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HSE Manager will modernise processes and accreditations to support the company's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
* Be responsible for health, safety and environmental concerns across multiple sites, developing, managing and monitoring HSE matters.
* Serve as the 'go‑to' expert on all HSE matters; provide guidance to senior leadership.
* Promote positive change with a can‑do attitude, working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Act as first point of contact for external agencies concerning HSE.
* Maintain compliance with evolving regulations and implement necessary changes.
* Develop and sustain a robust health and safety culture.
* Ensure all documentation is current and maintained.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven track record as HSE Manager within manufacturing.
* Strong leadership capabilities; able to motivate and implement change.
* Minimum NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
* Autonomous, proactive, organised and able to work under pressure.
* Experience in heavy industry/hazardous environments is desirable.
