Company Overview Our client is a well-established and growing electrical contractor specialising in a wide range of electrical installations, with a primary focus on residential developments across the East of England. They work with respected housebuilders, developers, and main contractors to deliver high-quality electrical installations, testing, and aftercare services. Due to continued expansion and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new client partnerships and secure ongoing workstreams. Key Responsibilities * Generate new business across residential developers, main contractors, and related sectors * Strengthen existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and increased market share * Lead sales processes from prospecting to proposal submission and contract negotiation * Work closely with the Managing Director and operational teams to support bid submissions * Attend meetings, industry networking events, and client presentations * Proactively work towards inclusion on key contractor frameworks and tender lists * Maintain an accurate sales/tender pipeline and provide regular revenue forecasts to the leadership team * Promote the full scope of services including installation, testing & inspection, and maintenance Experience & Competencies * Proven BD or sales background within electrical contracting or wider MEP/construction service.
